From modest beginnings, ASG has developed into an aircraft maintenance service provider with facilities both in the UK and Guernsey, where a full-service FBO is also located, ideally placed for customers from Europe and mainland UK.

In 1993, ASG opened its first dedicated hangar—a purpose-built 15,000-square-foot facility dedicated to aircraft maintenance. This development enabled more local aircraft owners to be supported and for ASG to promote itself as a maintenance destination for aircraft owners across Europe.

A new build FBO with additional hangarage was opened in 2007, increasing the total available space to 41,000 square feet. Services were expanded for based aircraft, and the new facility proved to be a catalyst for growth through a new executive handling service that is available for the increasing numbers of business and general aviation aircraft visiting Guernsey.

The company entered a new phase of growth in 2014, when the original founders welcomed new shareholders, including Ravenscroft Investment Management and Guernsey resident Steve Page. With Steve appointed as CEO, these investments provided a solid foundation for further expansion.

From 2014 to 2018, ASG experienced consistent 30% year-on-year growth and introduced new capabilities, including aircraft sales and acquisitions. While providing and growing services to general aviation customers remained a key strategy, a new focus on securing contracts with corporate customers and airlines, alongside developing relationships with several OEMs. This approach resulted in a balanced mix of services catering to a range of aviation requirements.

By the end of 2018, ASG had grown into a thriving enterprise, offering a comprehensive range of services, including maintenance, executive ground handling, and aircraft sales support—all underpinned by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to customer service.

The next chapter commenced in December 2018, when newly formed Guernsey-based Pula Aviation Services led by CEO Steve Page acquired 100% of the share capital of ASG and Centreline in Bristol.

ASG now proudly employs more than 20 engineers across four sites and has successfully expanded its Part-145 maintenance operations to include the Dassault Falcon 900EX EASy series. This required establishing a comprehensive line and base maintenance facility at RAF Northolt to support the CSAT Contract with the Ministry of Defence.

Pula Aviation Services now encompasses a range of group capabilities through its portfolio of businesses, including ASG, Airpart Supply, Centreline, Capital Air Ambulance, and Pula Aircraft Sales. By leveraging the group’s collective knowledge, expertise, and operational strengths, we can offer our customers an even broader range of services and solutions.
