The Position
A leading global telecommunications provider is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Guernsey operation.
The Responsibilities
This is a strategic in-house role supporting operations across the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, South Atlantic, and Diego Garcia. The position covers a broad range of legal areas including commercial contracts, regulatory matters, dispute support, and data protection compliance.
Experience / Qualifications / Education
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer (UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, or equivalent) with around six years’ PQE and strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Solid knowledge of data protection law and a pragmatic, business-focused approach are essential. Experience within a regulated or technology-driven environment is highly desirable. Please note, a Basic Police Disclosure will be required.
