We are hiring!
Guernsey Finance, the promotional agency for Guernsey’s financial services sector, is recruiting an editorial communications executive. This entry-level role would ideally suit a journalism or PR graduate.
We are a small, friendly team who are committed to promoting Guernsey’s excellent financial services sector across the globe.
The Communications team is responsible for all written and verbal content that is produced by Guernsey Finance, including but not limited to newsletters, press releases, social media posts, blogs, articles and news stories.
Our ideal candidate will possess a natural skill for writing, with excellent spelling and punctuation. Knowledge of Guernsey’s finance sector is desirable. A willingness to learn and general level of enthusiasm is key.

The Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Communications Director in carrying out general tasks such as interacting with the media and industry groups
• Preparing written content for distribution via the media and tracking coverage
• Proofing written copy and ensuring it is ready for distribution
• Horizon scanning of other media content, to see if there is a pertinent angle for Guernsey’s finance sectors
• Contributing ideas to the GF team’s campaign, events promotion and business development events
• Working alongside the other teams at Guernsey Finance to ensure that all content, tone and messaging is in line with company expectations and values
• Assisting the Digital Communications Specialist with the creation of social media posts and responding to external content
• Collating engagement statistics and other data for Board reports
Experience / Qualifications / Education
This entry-level role would ideally suit a journalism or PR graduate.
