About the roles

We are recruiting several full-time Postal Workers to join our busy and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for people who enjoy being active, working outdoors and taking pride in delivering a reliable service to the local community. Every day brings variety, responsibility and the satisfaction of helping keep our island connected.

As part of this recruitment, we are looking for at least one responsible and conscientious individual who holds a HGV licence. 

Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will be involved in sorting and delivering local mail and parcels, playing an essential role in keeping our island connected. This is a role where your reliability, energy and commitment will be valued from day one.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided, giving you the confidence, skills and guidance you need to succeed from day one and grow in the role.

What you'll bring:

• A good eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Good knowledge of the island.
• Confidence using basic IT systems and technology.
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• A good level of physical fitness, including the ability to walk long distances and lift heavier items.
• A full driving licence is essential.
