The Responsibilities
The role of Underwriting Assistant sits in the Operations Team and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Crisis Management Business Unit. Team members work closely with internal stakeholders to grow the business and offer unparalleled service to clients.
The role holder will be part of the team servicing different products and completing administrative tasks across the Crisis Management’s portfolio (Kidnap and Ransom, Marine Piracy, Security Incident Response and Fine Art) spanning an international footprint that includes London, Guernsey, Miami, and Latin America.
New joiners are supported through a structured 8-week training plan with plenty of opportunities to shadow members of the wider Crisis Management team to build relationships with stakeholders as well as fellow team members.
Experience / Qualifications / Education
Candidates should have a strong academic background (A-Levels or equivalent) with excellent analytical and technical skills, proficient in MS Office and high-quality administrative and organisational skills, demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and the ability to work unsupervised.
Spanish language knowledge is a benefit but not essential.
